Attitudes To Women

Today's Story on CHILDREN: I will always advocate listening to your children as they will teach you valuable lessons. However today, we'll explore the responsibility of the adult towards children. Children do of course benefit from education and the adult is responsible in overseeing that they get the right information. Today's society and I mean television, brainwashes children into believing that this is how life is. My eldest daughter (7 years old) asked for something to eat before bedtime and I responded with, 'How about some bread and jam?' 'What's jam?' asked my daughter. What a strange feeling came over me. I showed her the jar and she turned her nose up and said, 'No thanks!' Chips and Chicken Nuggets, Ham and Cheese Sandwiches, Biscuits (Cookies), Cereal, Pasta, Pizza, Tacos, Burger and Chips etc. etc. They do get plenty of fruit, but the point is, if it is not on television they are not going to know about it! (Apart of course from the failing of the parent which I didn't want to mention). So my lady played a game. To teach through play is good. We blindfolded my daughter and asked her to taste six different flavours. Jam, Marmalade, Mayonnaise, Brown Sauce, Honey and Marmite; all of which upon viewing them she refused to indulge in. As we played the game we introduced her to five new tastes that she enjoyed, and one she flatly refused. The blindfold did the trick. In a frustrating moment of, 'What's jam?' I would have never have thought, let's play a game. But it was the game that saved the day. Now of course she wants to play the same game with different tastes each day. Today's story is another gem that you may well want to use... BAKING A CAKE A very ill little boy was telling his Grandma how "everything" was going wrong ...school was too hard, family problems other than his illness, his severe pain, just all the hardships he was going through. Meanwhile, Grandma was baking a cake. She asked the child if he would like a snack, which of course he does. "Here. Have some cooking oil." "Yuck, " said the boy. "How about a couple of raw eggs?" "Gross, Grandma." "Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?" "Grandma, those are all yucky!" To which the Grandma replied: "Yes, Sweetheart, those things seem bad all by themselves. But, when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times, but, God knows that, when He puts these things all in His order, they always work for good! We just have to trust Him and, eventually the yucky stuff will make of our lives something wonderful! "Just like Baking a Cake.' (Unknown Author). QUOTE: "Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.' (Dr. Martin Luther King Jnr).

Hip hop attitudes to women?
If all rappers and the likes used to be pimps and playas. What does that say about their attitude to women. So why do young girls think they are cool, they in the past and probably in the future are just as likely to prostitute you out. I just don't see the difference in them and some greasy old pimp in a knocking shop

Saudis NOT asked about commonplace Human Rights violations?
And this from the dreadful PC government of Yuman Rights and its' associated Cheriegate scandal. "Saudi Arabia's record on the matter has been widely criticised - in particular its public executions, alleged torture of prisoners and its attitude to women. In an interview with Sky, Prince Saud was asked whether human rights had been discussed' He said: "No." Downing St has acknowledged that the matter did not come up in a meeting between King Abdullah and Gordon Brown - but said human rights had been on the agenda during the visit." Yet another case of Labour lying again? Are you aware that Indonesia, Phillipines, Thailand and Vietnam (Bangladesh too possibly) have all threatened total ban on travels to Suadi Arabia if the Saudi's do not stop raping, abusing, degrading, dismembering and falsely accusing legitimate Guest Workers (usually maids, chaffeurs, cooks other low-skills) and treat these Asians as human beings? What's your opinion of Saint Paul?
I think people are always getting on his back about his attitudes to women and homosexuality. Also people blame him for the Nicene Trinity theory gaining common currency; but that's not fair! The Nicene Creed was formed later, based on highly dubious interpretations of 'his' letters, some of which he did not even write! Do you think people should lay off him a bit?

Laugh all you want, I guarantee someone will say it's not funny...?
Arnie Sworn In Arnold Schwarzenegger was sworn in today as the new governor of California. He gave his solemn oath that he would crush his enemies, see them driven before him, and hear the lamentations of the women. Bad day for Max Factor Cosmetics heir and fugitive rapist Andrew Luster, great-grandson of makeup legend Max Factor, was captured in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico yesterday by a bounty hunter. Luster had jumped a $1 million bail and fled the US during his trial for drugging and then raping three women. He was sentenced to 124 years in prison, a sentence he began serving today. The rest of the Factor family was said to be in hiding, avoiding all contact with the press, deeply embarrassed by having such a bad heir day. This is the joke that caused Bee Gee Robin Gibb to launch a furious attack on comic Graham Norton and say that he would "rip his head off" if the two ever met. "I bet Maurice Gibb's heart monitor was singing the tune of Stayin' Alive." Eminem's tour of Ireland is to go ahead despite concerns over a sickening attitude to women, appallingly obscene language, an irresponsible attitude to sex and violence, and, of course, the booze. Eminem said that, despite these shocking traits, he would wait and "judge the Irish for himself."
