Human Mind

Today's Story on THE LOVE OF WISDOM: If it is true that actions speak louder than words, how often do you say to someone you love them? What can speak louder than that? If I ever was to make a defence in court, in defence of the power of words as opposed to action, I would use today's story to illustrate the power of saying, 'I love you.' Days can fly by, weeks, months and years can also pass quickly. We must not forget to say to those important to you that you LOVE them. As we know this appreciating those close to you is important, we must recognise in ourselves, especially men, the impulse when a loving thought occurs. Women have an inbuilt mechanism that recognises this easier than men; but this impulse must be acted upon with words. If you are sat at the breakfast table and your child begins to clear the table of the plates and cups, you must show your appreciation. Make recognising this impulse become part of your personal philosophy, it will help to improve your attitude. WHO I AM MAKES A DIFFERENCE A teacher decided to honour each of her seniors in high school by telling them the difference they each made. She called each student to the front of the class, one at a time. First she told each of them how they had made a difference to her and the class. Then she presented each of them with a blue ribbon imprinted with gold letters, which read, "Who I Am Makes a Difference." Afterwards the teacher decided to do a class project to see what kind of impact recognition would have on a community. She gave each of the students three more ribbons and instructed them to go out and spread this acknowledgment ceremony. Then they were to follow up on the results, see who honoured whom and report back to the class in about a week. One of the boys in the class went to a junior executive in a nearby company and honoured him for helping him with his career planning. He gave him a blue ribbon and put it on his shirt. Then he gave him two extra ribbons and said, "We're doing a class project on recognition, and we'd like you to go out, find somebody to honour, give them a blue ribbon, then give them the extra blue ribbon so they can acknowledge a third person to keep this acknowledgment ceremony going. Then please report back to me and tell me what happened." Later that day the junior executive went in to see his boss, who had been noted, by the way, as being kind of a grouchy fellow. He sat his boss down and he told him that he deeply admired him for being a creative genius. The boss seemed very surprised. The junior executive asked him if he would accept the gift of the blue ribbon and would he give him permission to put it on him. His surprised boss said, "Well, sure." The junior executive took the blue ribbon and placed it right on his boss's jacket above his heart. As he gave him the last extra ribbon, he asked, "Would you do me a favour? Would you take this extra ribbon and pass it on by honouring somebody else? The young boy who first gave me the ribbons is doing a project in school and we want to keep this recognition ceremony going and find out how it affects people." That night the boss came home to his 14-year-old son and sat him down. He said, "The most incredible thing happened to me today. I was in my office and one of the junior executives came in and told me he admired me and gave me a blue ribbon for being a creative genius. Imagine. He thinks I'm a creative genius. Then he put this blue ribbon that says "Who I Am Makes a Difference, " on my jacket above my heart. He gave me an extra ribbon and asked me to find somebody else to honour. As I was driving home tonight, I started thinking about whom I would honour with this ribbon and I thought about you. I want to honour you. My days are really hectic and when I come home I don't pay a lot of attention to you. Sometimes I scream at you for not getting good enough grades in school and for your bedroom being a mess, but somehow tonight, I just wanted to sit here and, well, just let you know that you do make a difference to me. Besides your mother, you are the most important person in my life. You're a great kid and I love you!" The startled boy started to sob and sob, and he couldn't stop crying. His whole body shook. He looked up at his father and said through his tears, "Dad, earlier tonight I sat in my room and wrote a letter to you and Mom explaining why I had killed myself and asking you to forgive me. I was going to commit suicide tonight after you were asleep. I just didn't think that you cared at all. The letter is upstairs. I don't think I need it after all." His father walked upstairs and found a heartfelt letter full of anguish and pain. The envelope was addressed, "Mom and Dad." The boss went back to work a changed man. He was no longer a grouch, but made sure to let all his employees know that they made a difference. The junior executive helped several other young people with career planning and never forgot to let them know that they made a difference in his life... one being the boss's son. And the young boy and his classmates learned a valuable lesson. WHO YOU ARE DOES MAKE DIFFERENCE. (Author Unknown) QUOTE: "Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working twenty four hours a day, for good or bad. It is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great force.' (Tom Blandi)

How can faith justify sufficiently any belief or action?
______ (of the asker) Logic comes before morals, logic is key to self-determination. Morals accepted without logic are slavery. Nature is the only existence experienced by humanity. Religion is from the imagination to occupy time. God is a fabrication of a human mind, the possibility of correspondence in the world is zero. The world determines by it's nature. Only in the mind does God seem real because that is his domain.

Why do clever people allow themselves to fall for belief that nature is not supreme, but that God is & exists?
My views at present: One day castrophe will strike and theists will be too busy praying to do anything substantial to rectify the issues. I would say that theists would be impractical dreamers. And that an atheist created civilisation and theists corrupted it and took power. The atheists do the hard work, theists take advantage; and is why atheists are still around. That just my theory and guess. ______ (of the asker) Logic comes before morals, logic is key to self-determination. Morals accepted without logic are slavery. The world determines by it's nature. Only in the mind does God seem real because that is his domain. I am open to persuasion, correction and possibility. I am fluid and am adaptable to new arguments. Let the Age of Aquarius begin metaphorically speaking in which a bucket of cold water shall awake latent human intelligence. If God doesn't exist then..........?
why do so many races around the world believe in some sort of god/s? These god/s aren't all similar but how do you explain the fact that originally all unrelated cultures who could not have shared info believe in a creator? There must be some reason why this is engraved in the human mind....maybe for god's purpose?what other explanation is there? but why did all nations come up with the same excuse? why not that the mountains created us? Why do the majority of all religions pray?where does that come from?

God is real why I believe this, not a question just want your opinions!?
I think god has to be real, I know it's impossible for a human mind to fathom the fact of some invisible sky guy that always existed, had no creator and made life and everything around it. But even theories of big bang and evolution have some serious flaws. I'll try to make this as shot as possible but if evolution is real, then we all came from a simple cell. But what doesn't make sense is why did the cell have to reproduce, did it know it was going to die? I mean do babies know they will die, no you only know once someone tells you now obviously natural instincts but a cell, come on! Something a non believer would adress is why would god create evil if he is so good, well wherever there is goodthere had to be evil, in a sense evil creates itself. No one is born evil they become evil over time and events on thief life. I think god created all of us for a reason if you believe we are all here for some common coincidence of a natural mistake that led to everything. The truth is if the bog bang was real then that has to be the most miraculous thing to ever happen in the history of everness. Just in the world our world is so beautiful where everything works together, you plant a seed it rains, the sun shines that seed grows into a tree, that tree gives shyer food clothes e.t.c. While dropping more seeds for more trees to grow, like that tree knows it will Diego so it has to grow and drop seeds. When you live in an environment you take everything for granted even something so simple like a plant curing diseases, now did the big bang create diseases and plants to cure those diseases? Personally I think there will never be a generation where people will accept things for what they are instead of looking for reasons for everything. This is why I believe there has to be a god things couldn't work the way they do with an explosion! What do you think I'm going to enjoy reading all these atheists freaks responses go ahead know it alps let's hear it...
