How to keep my motivation up for job hunting?
Hi there!
Having a really bad moment with job hunting - i'm literally spending all my days applying for jobs I've never done before but i know i can because i've had work experience/ placements, a degree, minor training and minor roles in the areas I'm applying for.
I seem to be spending approx 2-3 hours per cover letter for each company i apply for as i like to tailor my cover letters to the company - i feel it's really important but i feel as if i'm spending so many hours of them that i've lost the ability to judge whether i'm making any impact.
I don't seem to get many interviews, and when i do i always seem to fail at the interview stage (mainly due to nerves)
Just feeling very un-motivated right now because i'm putting in so much effort and getting nowhere (as i'm sure, many people are too currently)
Any top tips for keeping motivated?

Should 17-year olds drink alcohol? Why or why not?
I just turned 17 and I've been tempted to try drink alcohol. I have high achievement motivation so I'm constantly stressed. A few of my friends are the same way, and they drink together to forget their problems.
Should I drink? I'm a really sweet, kind, decent-looking, and smart girl. No one would believe me if I told them I'd tried alcohol.

Low IQ result - proof of inherent idiocy?
I've got myself agitated over an low IQ test result. I have taken many online IQ tests over the last year and I usually scored between 110 - 125 but on one or two tests recently I scored as low as 70. An IQ of 70 is considered in some parts of the world as a predicator of mental retardation, if I really am that unintelligent it hardly seems likely I will succeed at my Computer Science placement.
I've always been sensitive about my intelligence, I think mostly because I didn't average high grades at secondary school due to lack of studying/motivation/revision. I still came out with 2 A's, 3 B's and 3 C's at GCSE but that's hardly a great result. Afterwards I took a BTEC in software engineering in which I scored A*,A*,A* (leading to my Comp Sci placement) but some may consider that irrelevant.
I want a 'real' IQ test but I don't know any psychologists who could administer one.
