A loving heart is the truest wisdom.
Charles Dickens
A merry Christmas to everybody! A happy New Year to all the world!
Charles Dickens
Whatever I have tried to do in life, I have tried with all my heart to do it well; whatever I
have devoted myself to, I have devoted myself completely; in great aims and in small I
have always thoroughly been in earnest.
Charles Dickens
I feel an earnest and humble desire, and shall till I die, to increase the stock of harmless
cheerfulness.
Charles Dickens
Do all the good you can, and make as little fuss about it as possible.
Charles Dickens
Happy, happy Christmas, that can win us back to the delusions of our childhood days,
recall to the old man the pleasures of his youth, and transport the traveler back to his
own fireside and quiet home!
Charles Dickens
I do come home at Christmas. We all do, or we all should. We all come home, or ought to
come home, for a short holiday - the longer, the better - from the great boarding school
where we are forever working at our arithmetical slates, to take, and give a rest.
Charles Dickens
I have always thought of Christmas as a good time; a kind, forgiving, generous, pleasant
time; a time when men and women seem to open their hearts freely, and so I say, God
bless Christmas!
Charles Dickens
It was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive
possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us! And so, as Tiny Tim
observed, God Bless Us, Every One!
Charles Dickens
Time was with most of us, when Christmas Day, encircling all our limited world like a magic
ring, left nothing out for us to miss or seek; bound together all our home enjoyments,
affections, and hopes; grouped everything and everyone round the Christmas fire, and
make the little picture shining in our bright young eyes, complete.
Charles Dickens

What else is love but understanding and rejoicing in the fact that another person lives,
acts, and experiences otherwise than we do...?
Friedrich Nietzsche
When one has much to put into them, a day has a hundred pockets.
Friedrich Nietzsche
When you stare into the abyss the abyss stares back at you.
Friedrich Nietzsche
You need chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star.
Friedrich Nietzsche
There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness.
Friedrich Nietzsche, "On Reading and Writing"
But thus do I counsel you, my friends: distrust all in whom the impulse to punish is
powerful!
Friedrich Nietzsche, Also Sprach Zarathustra, Chapter 29
Digressions, objections, delight in mockery, carefree mistrust are signs of health;
everything unconditional belongs in pathology.
Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil
Poets are shameless with their experiences: they exploit them.
Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil
He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if
you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.
Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil, Aphorism 146
What is done out of love always takes place beyond good and evil.
Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil, Aphorism 153
Only sick music makes money today.
Friedrich Nietzsche, Der Fall Wagner, Section 5
The man of knowledge must be able not only to love his enemies but also to hate his
friends.

Everything You Want Appears -- Seemingly Out of Thin Air

There is a science that deals with manifesting desires. Many
people regard it as mystical or esoteric, but it's actually a
science like physics or algebra.

There are certain immutable laws that govern the process of
materializing wishes seemingly out of thin air, and once these
laws are complied with, anyone can make their dreams a reality
-- with absolute certainty.

Is this the reason people reject Jehovah's Witnesses?
I live in the UK and it is common practise for people to nervously reject Jehovah's Witnesses out of hand, and hastily send them on their way. Some even hide until they have gone. Jehovah's Witnesses (I am not) are probably the least threatening people you will meet, they have a devout belief, the message of which they want to spread, so others can enjoy what they have found in the religion. But the very words Jehovah's Witness strikes fear and loathing into the British people who never listen to what they have to say, do they think it's witchcraft, will they speak in tongues, is it a highway to hell? Whatever they want non of it, But are they really frightened of the truth, of the fact that they will step out of line with their family, friends and peer group, not joining them in their blind prejudice, despite the possibility that it may be the greatest thing they ever did, bringing success, peace and spiritual enlightenment as they never envisaged? Are they so blinded by prejudice. deafened by hearsay, or is it just the fear of hearing something they may like?

Do you think the UN is still ?fit for purpose? ?
The failure of the United Nations to take decisive action on Syria shows it is no longer "fit for purpose" and is becoming "redundant as a guardian of global peace", Amnesty International has reported. The world body had failed in its basic duty after Russia and China blocked several resolutions against the Bashar al-Assad regime, said Salil Shetty, Amnesty's secretary general, launching its annual report. The UN Security Council's charter, he said, was about taking "prompt and effective action" to protect vulnerable people, but "in the case of Syria it has done neither". "We saw something extraordinary in 2011, as people demanded their rights, dignity and justice and stood up to beatings, bullets and tanks. But in sharp contrast there was an appalling failure of global leadership," he said. "What is happening in Syria is effectively crimes against humanity, but the Security Council just watched for months and months. "In this day and age it is simply unacceptable that thousands of lives have been lost because the Security Council is not fit for purpose." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/syria/9285773/UN-no-longer-fit-for-purpose-after-Syria-says-Amnesty.html

What should i do. HEARTBROKEN?
I don't even know where to start. I really don't know what to do and i am so confused Been with my boyfriend 6months now and we have had the best time ever, he's a really nice guy and we just click. We are so alike. I have had doubt in the past whether i really want to be with him but now he's not here i am in pieces and i am hurting. It started off just bickering and some arguing then all of a sudden we are here. I have apologised for some stuff i have said and for causing some arguments and admitted i was wrong. Now it's got to the stage where he has blocked me on Facebook all because i blocked him first in the heat of the moment but realised it was shitty to do so unblocked him. Before all this happened we had a talk Sunday night/Monday morning and i had said i don't think its going to work but i really want it to and we were going to try again until he started putting doubt on it saying we might argue again, i said we will argue couples do that. Then he left and gave me a long message saying he is still head over heels in love with me and he wants to try. I got this text later on in the morning as i got up for work, i left it and didnt reply as i was going to on my lunch break, he sent another 4-5 messages and i text him saying ok and that ii would call him after my evening course at college. I text him on the way home saying I miss you i will call you when i get in. I got home to find his about me changed on Facebook. So i phoned him and we argued and that was that , next i am blocked. i text him the following morning which was yesterday and i get abuse of him saying i started this blocking **** and everything i said he twisted it round on me. I tried to contact him but he's ignoring my texts and when he does reply its like hours later. I've told him if he really wants me back and truly loves me, He would stop ignoring me and pushing me away. I then find out he's added a girl i know on Facebook and another he has subscribed to. I confronted him and he called me pathetic. So i said he was spiteful and he can't blame this all on me and i said can we just meet up and talk face to face like adults and that i might still be going Cyprus to get away for a few weeks. For my own peace of mind and sanity i have deleted his number and messages so i can not text him. I have left it for him to get in touch.. He did reply and said he would speak to me in a couple of day (possibly) and asked why have i decided to go to Cyprus. I just didn't reply. I don't no if im doing the right thing in ignoring him but i want him to realise once i'm gone i gone . I don't know how its come to this when we are so in love. Hes like no other guy and truly is one in a million and is sensitive. i Just don't know how you can go from Monday head over heels to Wednesday twisting everything i have said and ignoring me. I have been heartbroken in the past and he knows this. So much for never hurting me and loving me deeply. Please give me your advice i am going crazy here , i have been out with friends, been to work kept busy and he is on my mind 24/7. I am also getting a pamper day tomorrow, head to toe, nails, hair the lot and going for a night out. But it still hurts like hell and i just want to talk to him. Katie :'( Exta Info I am 24 he is 22 I know it sounds very immature. If you actually knew me you would see i am very mature that's why i wanted to speak to him face to face and try to sort this mess out like adults. But there's no reasoning with him, I'm having this arguement with a 22 year old and it's making me drop to his level as i am frustrated theres no communication. YES i blocked him in the heat of the moment then straight away unblocked him as i thought know i am better than this.
