how do you work under a manager who talks to you like dirt?
She's new and I've been a manager in a more luxurious store before, she only got the job because she was gona be made redundent, she is often quite rude, tells me she needs things done 'now'. I've been on a managerial course that really promoted the importance of staff motivation, and it was reall benifitial, but she's above me and she hasn't even grasped the basic skills.
I've just ignored it, but it's really getting to me now. She also basically shouts on the staff tannoy telling staff to get to where she wants them, all customers can hear.
What do you think of it?

CAN I HELP ME, PLEASE?
IS IT CORRECT?
Create a good working environment.
We think that the motivation of our employees will improve if they have a good working environment. Therefore, we will give to our employees a place to meet and talk with their workmates during their breaks: a coffee room. Moreover, we believe that it?s important that our employees maintain close links among themselves. For that, the company will organize sports events, meals with our employees and their families and other events outside the workplace. Our goal is that our employees can meet with their workmates and their bosses in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
2. Modify the salaries politics of the corporation.
Currently, staff at UO Company receives a fix salary per month which is independent of the number of household appliances produced by the corporation in that period of time. Staff motivation could be improved splitting the salary in two parts: a fix part and a variable part depending on the amount of appliances produced by the company in a month. The harder workers work, the more they win. Higher salaries will increase staff motivation.
3. Increase the vertical communication between the boss and the workers.
We decided that one of the three ideas to make our company work better the vertical communication between manager and workers Conduct meetings with employees encouraging them to produce, trying excited about our company, we stand in the market, ultimately making the company feel proud to belong, I think that increasing the vertical communication between the boss and the workers is a good idea. Giving information to the staff about the goals of each year, about the strategies to follow, about the results of the corporation, for example... we can reach that workers feel themselves part of the corporation. Moreover, we have to achieve that our workers feel useful to increase their motivation. When you have the right information you can work better.

help with presentation?
Please can someone help me? I have to do a 15 minute presentation on Staff Motivation, I have got all the pointers but am struggling to elaborate. The points below just need bulking out and would appreciate any help with this!
Firstly I would speak to each member of the team individually; I would choose to speak to them individually rather than as a group as I feel people are more open to you. As people are motivated by different things, it?s important to listen to the needs of each individual.
I think it is important that the team has faith in their leader; I have found that if your staff trust and respect you will get the same in return. I have experiences of good leaders and shall we say, not so good leaders and I certainly know who got the best out of me!
Lead by example; don?t expect your team to do something you are not prepared to do yourself.
I would ensure I kept the team up to speed with information that was relevant to them as this is key to making them feel included.
A positive attitude brings positive results, it is important to remain positive at all times.
Lead by example
In line management you have to be flexible with your approach and listen to your staff, taking on board their ideas and be accepting of this.
Any help will be appreciate - many thanks
