Today's Story on LOVE: In love you always give and don't demand in return. By giving, you allow things to happen. When people love someone, they forget that real love means no demands from the beloved. When dedicating yourself to a God, the Self, the Absolute, the Saviour - call it what you will, the most important part is the heart, and that is very simple. If that is properly achieved in its simplicity, all the rest should not bother one, because nothing else is very important. One can see this from many examples that this is so, but here is one: IT WAS ASKED FROM THE HEART 'There was a great elephant who was proud of his size and strength, but when he went for a bathe he was caught by a crocodile in mid-stream and dragged out of his depth into the deep water. He was helpless and couldn't do anything. But; just when he was about to be drowned he happened to catch with his trunk a lotus flower floating on the river, and offering that flower to the Absolute, to his God, he begged Him to save his life. So pure was his offering that God came running from his throne. One might wonder how one could dislodge the Absolute, the God and cause him to come barefoot from his throne by just a little flower! But it was not the flower, it was the spirit behind the flower - it was the heart which prayed.' (Excerpt from the book 'Good Company.') QUOTE: "Don't spend your precious time asking, 'Why isn't this world a better place?' It will only be time wasted. The question to ask is, 'How can I make it better?' To that there is an answer.' (Leo F Buscaglia, Author in 'The Way of the Bull').

rat-lovers! Metacognition?
Turns out that rats have the ability to reflect on their own thought processes, an ability that has only been attributed to humans and some primates. So, rats can and DO think, they know what they do and don't know! They process their thoughts and learn from them!! This marks true intelligence. Rats aren't like dogs in that they know what is what because of a reward, they know it because they THINK about it. Rats, the true equal to man!! Check it out: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/03/070308121856.htm Now, there should be no excuses against rats! They are truly intelligent creatures! No Sex Please, We're Female Sharks?
ScienceDaily (May 23, 2007) ? Female sharks can reproduce without having sex, scientists have found. A female hammerhead shark has given birth without mating with a male and its offspring has no paternal DNA. I know that women outnumber us but now this, do you think all species are evolving into some kind of no male needed reproduction. I once saw that male sea horses are the ones who carry the eggs till they're born, maybe we'll be like that too. Who knows? Isn't Nature strange and fascinating? I don't know about you but this reaffirms my belief in evolution. I'm not saying I completely like it ;P

Could the last GENERATION started in the 1800's due to a Supernova that scientist just discovered?
the "fig tree," Israel, began to put forth its leaves? The text does not say when Israel becomes a nation. Perhaps the fig tree began to put forth leaves at the time of the first aliyah (return) of the Jews in the late 1800's? Why not the founding of Tel Aviv, the first all-Jewish city in modern times, established in 1909? All these points of time were pointed out by prophecy teachers as the beginning of the final generation ScienceDaily (May 14, 2008) ? The most recent supernova in our Galaxy has been discovered by tracking the rapid expansion of its remains-The supernova explosion occurred about 140 years ago, making it the most recent supernova in the Milky Way as measured in Earth's time frame. 140 yrs ago would be 1868 and 70 yrs later 1968 Israel becomes a nation 2008 the Tribulation.Thoughts?
