Stress Incontinence
Today's Story on LOVE: What are the right actions to take in love? As with any big question you'll need to split the problem into smaller sections and deal with them individually. You may have to split the one big problem into 100 parts if necessary, as the smaller they are the easier they are to resolve. Intuitively we know the action to take, but more often than not we have an inner driving force that steers us away from this. It is this pull that wisdom needs to defeat. To not accept that a pull is there will only lead to further anguish, we need to be aware of its presence to actually see its activity. If you have followed an action that has not been strictly correct, but done so nonetheless, will make you fully appreciate the power this force has. For want of a better explanation we appear to forget. Then on top of that forgetting we have some apparent justification. Love is open and free, and not full of justification for not doing. Today's story illustrates how simple love can be if it is allowed to happen. Forgetting becomes the barrier we use and we are better to operate instinctively. CHAIN OF LOVE "How do you account for your remarkable accomplishment in life?" Queen Victoria of England asked Helen Keller. "How do you explain the fact that even though you were both blind and deaf, you were able to accomplish so much?" Ms. Keller's answer is a tribute to her dedicated teacher. "If it had not been for Anne Sullivan, the name of Helen Keller would have remained unknown." According to speaker Zig Ziglar, "Little Annie" Sullivan, as she was called when she was young, was no stranger to hardship. She was almost sightless herself (due to a childhood fever) and was, at one time, diagnosed as hopelessly "insane" by her by caregivers. She was locked in the basement of a mental institution outside of Boston. On occasion, Little Annie would violently attack anyone who came near. Most of the time she generally ignored everyone in her presence. An elderly nurse believed there was hope, however, and she made it her mission to show love to the child. Every day she visited Little Annie. For the most part, the child did not acknowledge the nurse's presence, but she still continued to visit. The kindly woman left cookies for her and spoke words of love and encouragement. She believed Little Annie could recover, if only she were shown love. Eventually, doctors noticed a change in the girl. Where they once witnessed anger and hostility, they now noted an emerging gentleness and love. They moved her upstairs where she continued to improve. Then the day finally came when this seemingly "hopeless" child was released. Anne Sullivan grew into a young woman with a desire to help others as she, herself, was helped by the kindly nurse. It was she who saw the great potential in Helen Keller. She loved her, disciplined her, played with her, pushed her and worked with her until the flickering candle that was her life became a beacon of light to the world. Anne Sullivan worked wonders in Helen's life; but it was a loving nurse who first believed in Little Annie and lovingly transformed an uncommunicative child into a compassionate teacher. "If it had not been for Anne Sullivan, the name of Helen Keller would have remained unknown." But if it had not been for a kind and dedicated nurse, the name of Anne Sullivan would have remained unknown. And so it goes. Just how far back does the chain of redemption extend? And how for forward will it lead? Those you have sought to reach, whether they be in your family or elsewhere, are part of a chain of love that can extend through the generations. Your influence on their lives, whether or not you see results, is immeasurable. Your legacy of dedicated kindness and caring can transform lost and hopeless lives for years to come. You can never overestimate the power of your love. It is a fire that, once lit, may burn forever. I am having problems when I run, laugh etc with "stress incontinence" Oh dear. I'm not even 40.........help!
So what can I do about it. I have a list of pelvic floor exercises, and have tried doing them but when I do, I get symptoms as if I have a bladder infection for about a week, the same if I use one of those internal weight systems. It is awful, and I'm so embarrassed. Does anyone know what might help please?

i am 16 wks pregnant and today lost an amount of clear fluid.I dont think it came from the bladder. What is it?
I woke in the night to find i was losing water and rushed to the toilet where i lost some more. it was a clear fluid with no blood and no pain. i am 16 wks pregnant and as i was worried about it i went to see my midwife. She checked baby's heartbeat which seemed fine and said i probably had Stress Incontinence which happens when the foetus puts pressure on the bladder. It didn't feel like it was coming from my bladder, more like it was coming from the uterus. I'm worried that something may be wrong with the pregnancy. Can a foetus survive ok with loss of amniotic fluid? I will visit my ante-natal clinic at our local Hospital this week just to get checked out.

I have a product on the market and need help marketing ARE YOU INTERESTED?
The product it to prevent stress incontinence in women, was clinically trialled and some of the women no longer need surgery, looking to get into Boots with it. Product is patent protected and I am now looking for hostesses to go out and sell the product either by house parties or get it into local chemists. Anyone interested only serious emails please. I will train you and hold a training session in either Swansea university or another venu. You will be paid on a commission basis. I am still supplying the hospital with the product.
Exatly F0xy, but from my focus groups, which have been 'parties' all women gathered around in a relaxed surroundings, start to open up and talk. This is when they see they are not on their own and don't have to deal alone with it. We do discuss lots of things and it has been very successful so far. I am trying to educate women that, it is an inbuilt part of us that sooner or later at some stage we become a 'leaky lady' It may happen only once, but for those who suffer its unbarable. Its OK to leak but not OK to have to live with the leak.

If you have a company and would like to sell this please contact me.
This is the only device that stops incontinence and exercises the pelvic muscles, without the user having to do anything. PROVED TO WORK.
Good points RM. It can only be used on stress Incontinence (SUI) as it works by closing the urethra via the vagina, at the same time supporting it and replacing the bladder back to it normal anatomical position. This prevents leakage, at the same time the shape of it allows the muscles to gently exercise themselves. It is reusable and very easy to insert. It has been published already and was presented at the UGIA in athens 2006 by the hospital and Swansea University, dept of life science. Can't be used if pregnant or if an IUD is in place. Happy to answer any questions, or you can go to the website (still not finished) www.incostress.com
